How we test

The nine point panel

A TrueView Certified lot is one TrueView bought on the open market and ran against all nine categories at an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory. Eight are scored pass or fail, the ninth is reported. A brand submitted lot runs whatever the brand commissioned, and every lot page shows exactly which categories were run.

Why one of the nine is not scored

Residual solvent limits depend on which solvents the manufacturer used, and they differ by solvent class. A single pass or fail would flatten that into a number that means nothing on its own, so we publish the measurement and leave it out of the score.

TrueView Certified means TrueView bought that unit on the open market like any customer and paid for the full panel. Brand submitted means the brand supplied it and chose the testing. Same laboratory, same methods, different sampling, and we say which on every page.
